This shrub has gone from cute little guy to hostile takeover of the kids’ playset.
We hadn’t minded because it was hiding an old, disconnected post for an outlet. There used to be a fence here, which I tore down and moved toward the curb to give us more backyard. Some posts were not in the mood to go in the dry ground of summer years ago.
But it’s been a wet spring and it’s time to go.
Shrub came out easy, and was transplanted.
Dug out deep enough and broke off this pipe, and cut the old dead conduit. The concrete posts were a project. One came out easy. The other two required the neighbor’s sledgehammer. Some dirt and seed and I’m done.

If the kid didn’t receive a ride in the wheelbarrow, then the job is incomplete.

Yeah, I’m basically dependent now on a friend to visit occasionally and keep my yard somewhat under control. My back is just useless.
